Nathalie Kalae
$200/hr Curl/Texture Specialist, Owner of Kinetic, She/Her - Born and raised in a small town in the Pacific Northwest, Nathalie’s aesthetic is heavily influenced by Seattle’s grunge scene. She appreciates easy, wash and go styles that are cut to your natural growth and hair fall. Proficient in razor and scissor cuts, Nathalie considers herself a master in her craft. Thoroughly loving to work with any and all hair textures. Nathalie opened her own Salon Suite in 2022, and by 2024 launched Kinetic.
Gabby Dent
$140/hr, Dry Haircut Specialist, She/Her Gabby has been taking clients in NYC since 2019. Having wavy/curly hair her entire life she is always willing to work with your natural texture to create that perfect look to fit your every day routine. Seamless grow out and longevity of the haircut is always Gabby’s main goal. Her skills are not only limited to cutting, Gabby is also involved in editorial & commercial styling. When she is not behind the chair, she’s probably on set or on location!
Jess Rizzo
$120/hr, Shags, Curls, Straight Razor Cuts She/Her What Jess loves most about hair is that it is a collaboration between the stylist and the client. She does what she can to address each client’s specific needs. Her specialty includes razor cut shags, precision cuts and curly haircutting, and she will stop at nothing to perfect her craft. In her free time she enjoys thrifting and spending time with her cat Marni.
Jeanny Mae
$110/hr, Barber/Cutting Specialist, They/Them She/Her, Jeanny is a born-and-bred New Yorker and a multidisciplinary artist, who entered the hair game during the pandemic in 2020 when they completed the cosmetology certification program through Arrojo Academy. Jeanny has continued their development while working at salons, barbershops, and even as a solo hair artist, completing their barber apprenticeship, taking workshop classes, and learning through their mentors. They specialize in dry haircutting with the shear and razor, blending formal techniques and sculptural design to craft both classic and creative styles. They focus on enhancing the client’s natural texture, and accommodating maintenance needs, ensuring each cut offers shape, balance, and movement for extended longevity—ideal for those who prefer a wash-and- wear, air-dried look. Jeanny prioritizes a safe, respectful space and experience with care and detail, believing hair to be a medium for one’s self expression, preservation, and affirmation. Book with Jeanny for: classic cuts, mullets, shags, fades, undercuts, clipper cuts, curly cuts, creative cuts, transformations, identity-affirming cuts, non-gendered cuts, bang trims, and upkeep for short or long styles.
Elias Lin
$90/hr, Junior Stylist, He/Him Elias’s cutting style is very intuitive, working with your favorite facial features and uniqueness over trends or what tradition says is “right” for you. Feeling like an outsider in typical salon spaces is something Elias is familiar with as a trans person, and has led him to operating in small spaces that allow his relationships with his clients to grow and his community to feel seen.
Ally Gary
$85/hr, Junior Stylist, She/Her A sweetheart from Louisiana and a recent Arrojo Academy graduate, she loves razor cutting and has a passion for creating looks that bring out your natural texture and lifestyle, making you feel like the best version of yourself. Ally's all about those big hair transformations that leave you feeling brand new. So, whether you're up for a bold change or dreaming of long, flowy layers and a bouncy blowout, she’d love to see you!
Stevie Gillhart
$50/hr, Stylist in Training, The/Them. Stevie prides themselves on the specialized care and service they give to each client. They believe that your hair is your playground to best express whatever identity represents your truth. They are skilled in natural cuts that give you grow-out longevity, but are always open to out of the box, funky and unique styles. Whether you prefer sheers, razors, or clippers Stevie's got you covered. Stevie’s journey into the world of hair has been supported and influenced by their commitment to community. They have intentionally learned how to treat all different hair types and have deep respect for the cultural and personal ties people have to their hair. When you’re in Stevie’s chair, they want you to feel cared for, listened to, and leave feeling refreshed and affirmed. Outside the salon, Stevie is a cabaret singer/drag performer throughout Brooklyn, Manhattan and Queens.
