Hair is personal. For a lot of our clients, it’s tied to identity, expression, and how they move through the world. Our role is to help align how you look with how you already feel — or want to feel. That process should feel easy, not overwhelming. At Kinetic, appointments are unrushed and collaborative. We take the time to talk things through, understand your routine, and create something that actually works for your day-to-day, not just the moment you leave the chair. The space itself reflects that approach. It’s calm, grounded, and intentionally low-pressure—more like being in a thoughtfully put-together home than a busy salon. We keep the energy balanced and respectful so everyone can feel comfortable and present while they’re here. It allows us to focus on the work, stay connected to what we’re doing, and create an experience that feels good from start to finish.
CANCELLATION POLICY
We charge a cancellation fee of 100% of the service for no-shows or cancellations within 48 hours of the scheduled appointment. Any person arriving more than 15 minutes late to their appointment will be considered a no-show and will be charged fees accordingly. All Service Sales are Final!

Nathalie Kalae
$225/hr Curl/Texture Specialist, Owner of Kinetic, She/Her - Born and raised in a small town in the Pacific Northwest, Nathalie’s aesthetic is heavily influenced by Seattle’s grunge scene. She appreciates easy, wash and go styles that are cut to your natural growth and hair fall. Proficient in razor and scissor cuts, Nathalie considers herself a master in her craft. Thoroughly loving to work with any and all hair textures. Nathalie opened her own Salon Suite in 2022, and by 2024 launched Kinetic.
Gabby Dent
$165/hr, Dry Haircut Specialist, She/Her Gabby has been taking clients in NYC since 2019. Having wavy/curly hair her entire life she is always willing to work with your natural texture to create that perfect look to fit your every day routine. Seamless grow out and longevity of the haircut is always Gabby’s main goal. Her skills are not only limited to cutting, Gabby is also involved in editorial & commercial styling. When she is not behind the chair, she’s probably on set or on location!
Jess Rizzo
$120/hr, Shags, Curls, Straight Razor Cuts She/Her What Jess loves most about hair is that it is a collaboration between the stylist and the client. She does what she can to address each client’s specific needs. Her specialty includes razor cut shags, precision cuts and curly haircutting, and she will stop at nothing to perfect her craft. In her free time she enjoys thrifting and spending time with her cat Marni.
